Contracts of Employment Template
The requirement to provide employees with terms and conditions
of employment is governed by legislation and it is essential
that they are properly written to reflect the contractual
relationship between the employer and the employee. Clear
definition defines each party’s responsibilities and
obligations and reduces the risk of conflict and employment
tribunal claims.
Vizual's HR Consultants will produce a bespoke employment
contract template for your use. This contract is designed
to be adaptable to different departmental needs and all
levels of staff. Should you prefer we can undertake a full
review and update of your existing contract documents and
would be happy to quote for this additional work.
When you re-subscribe to the service in subsequent years
your contract of employment will be reviewed and updated,
just resubmit it to us when you renew.
Employment Advice Line
Most of the personnel related problems employers face are
about every day employee problems that can be costly in
terms of the time and effort required to resolve them. Increasingly,
issues of reasonableness and adherence to procedure are
critical and judgment by an employment tribunal can leave
you exposed to some major costs – the maximum amount for unfair dismissal compensation is currently £68,000
for and unlimited compensation for sex, race, age, sexual orientation
or disability discrimination that can be attributed to you
or the people you employ.
The process of employing people isn’t getting any
easier with increasing legislation covering almost every
aspect of employment from recruitment to termination. Not
only is this legislation becoming more onerous, employees
are increasingly aware of their rights and, there are more
opportunities to challenge your decisions through the employment
tribunal system.
Vizual’s experienced HR Consultants support employers
by providing advice and assistance on employment issues
such as absence from work, disciplinary events, dismissal,
employment rights, poor performance and redundancies. Specifically
our HR Consultants will:
- Ensure you are aware of relevant legislation.
- Advise you about the options you have when dealing
with employment issues together with an understanding
of the risks and the benefits of undertaking different
courses of action.
- Support you with practical guidance and assistance on
how to deal with issues.
- Produce draft letters to ensure that key issues are
addressed and understood.
The Advice Line is open between 09.00 and 17.30 Monday to
Friday excluding public holidays. New users of the Silver Service will receive a welcome
pack, detailing their primary contact and how to utilise
the services provided. Your Account Manager will be an experienced,
qualified HR Consultant and it is his / her job develop
an understanding of your organisation and to ensure that
you receive a professional service from the HR Consultants
that provide you with help and assistance.
Contacting the Advice Line is by phone and email, where
you will simply be asked to verify yourself as a Gold Service
Customer by ID or Account Name.
Staff Handbook
Vizual’s HR Consultants will draft a tailor made
staff handbook for your organisation covering all HR policies,
procedures and personnel administration issues. Staff Handbooks
provide both new and existing employees with a useful guide
to their terms and conditions of employment as well as employment
policies, procedures and workplace rules.
The service is based on Vizual HR providing you with a
bespoke, legally compliant handbook incorporating your existing
policies. Should you prefer we can undertake a full review
and update of your current handbook and would be happy to
quote for this additional work.
When you re-subscribe to the service in subsequent years
your Staff Handbook will be reviewed and updated, just resubmit
it to us when you renew.
New users of the Gold Service will receive a welcome pack,
detailing their primary contact and how to utilise the services
provided. Your Account Manager will be an experienced and
qualified HR Consultant and it is his / her job to develop
an understanding of your organisation and to ensure that
you receive a professional service from the HR Consultants
that will provide you with help and assistance.
Any existing policies will be updated and incorporated
into the staff handbook. When you re subscribe to the service

What does it Cost?
Payment is provided on a single user basis at £1,499
per annum based on an upfront single payment by Credit Card,
BACs, or cheque OR for just £135 per month by Direct
Debit.
